This climate change mitigation initiative reduces deforestation and forest degradation in addition to avoiding the conversion of natural savannahs, implementing sustainable production practices and ecological restoration. Its objective is to contribute to the conservation of biodiversity, the carbon stored above and below ground, as well as the management of clean water in strategic ecosystems.
Orinoco2 began in 2018, with a projection of linking 500,000 hectares of private land
